Founder’s Heart

Lev+Light was born not in a place of spotlight or perfection, but in the quiet secret place — a space of raw surrender between a young woman and her God. It began with a vision God placed on the heart of Ashlyn Isabella Livas, a woman called out of the patterns of this world and into something far greater — a life set apart, devoted, and deeply dependent on the Spirit.

Ashlyn didn’t create Lev+Light because she had everything figured out. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Her heart broke for women who felt the crushing weight of the world — for the young professionals and students who silently struggled with anxiety and emotional overwhelm, for the mothers who felt they had lost their sense of self, and for the women who felt unseen, unheard, and misunderstood in both their faith and their physical health.

She personally walked through seasons of deep burnout, confusion, and emotional heaviness. She often felt isolated in her struggle, unsure if anyone would understand — scared that vulnerability would be mistaken for weakness or even spiritual failure. But what she discovered was that vulnerability was not weakness at all — it was strength. It was the doorway to healing and to deeper intimacy with Jesus.

Not only was she wrestling spiritually and emotionally, but she was also battling physically — unable to make sense of her body’s constant fluctuations. One day, she’d feel confident, energetic, and full of clarity. The next, she’d feel deeply discouraged, unmotivated, and emotionally disconnected — like a stranger in her own skin. Even though she was consistently seeking God and living in His presence, she couldn’t understand why she felt so off-balance.

That’s when the Lord gently opened a new door — an invitation to learn about her body, her hormones, her cycle, and how it all beautifully intertwines with her spiritual life. As she began to understand her own rhythms, she no longer felt defeated or confused. Instead, she was equipped with truth — about her identity, her body, and most of all, her worth in the eyes of Jesus.

Lev+Light was birthed out of that healing. It’s not just a brand or a program — it’s a calling. A safe space for the broken, the brave, and the ones who are ready to rise in truth and wholeness. Ashlyn’s heart is to walk alongside you, not as someone who has it all together, but as someone who’s been in the valley and came out holding the hand of Jesus — stronger, softer, and surrendered.
